Special Tokoname yaki (常滑焼) Japanese teapot made in produced in a signature all matte black base by Akira Light. The design features a classic '108 hold strainer' design which prevents backflow and is a traditional Japanese Teaware feat. Surface features a spiraling hiramaru pattern along with handpainted grapevine motifs that are transfer printed. Tokoname teapots use a clay that contains high iron content - helping to balance the tannins in tea. Gift box included.
