A newcomer to the far east handmade earthenware scene, Makie Pottery is a community of artisans and craftsmen in Jindezhen - the renown historic ceramic art capital of China. Inspired by 'Kintsugi' - the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery and treating breakage as part of the piece's history rather than something of disguise - the designs are centered around 'course pottery' and carry earthy vibes.
